Tim Gauna -Executive Vice President and Director of Operations
With over two decades of hands-on experience in both the construction and oil and gas industries, Tim brings a wealth of knowledge and leadership to MSC Safety Solutions. His career began in the field and evolved into a senior-level safety management role, giving him a unique perspective on the challenges and intricacies of maintaining safety and efficiency on complex job sites. Over the years, Tim has built a reputation as a results driven safety professional with a proven track record of leading high-performing teams and delivering measurable improvements in workplace safety culture.
Tim previously served as a key safety leader for the largest non-union steel erector in the United States, where he specialized in critical areas such as case management, safety program development, crane and rigging operations, fall protection, and regulatory compliance. His real-world experience and deep understanding of industry’s best practices make him an invaluable asset to MSC Safety Solutions and the clients we serve.
Throughout his career, Tim has contributed to the success of numerous large-scale projects across the nation, working alongside top-tier general contractors such as Fluor, Mortenson, Haselden, and others. He has a comprehensive understanding of all phases of construction, from pre-construction planning to final turnover, and knows how to integrate safety into every stage of the process. His ability to collaborate across disciplines and communicate clearly with both field personnel and executive stakeholders ensures that safety is not just a requirement, but a core value on every project.

Born and raised in Colorado, Tim continues to call the state home. He lives with his wife, their two children, and their beloved dogs. When not leading safety initiatives or managing complex projects, Tim is an avid outdoorsman. He enjoys hunting, fishing, and camping throughout Colorado’s rugged terrain, and places a strong emphasis on spending quality time with his family in the great outdoors.
