Crane and Safety Specialist/Instructor

Hunter Harmon is a Safety-focused industrial professional with more than six years of crane and rigging experience and over four years in leadership roles supporting high-risk lifting operations within refinery and chemical plant environments. Currently serving as a Safety Consultant with MSC Safety, conducting jobsite inspections, evaluating high-risk activities, and partnering with field leadership to ensure work is executed safely and in compliance with regulatory and company requirements.

Brings a strong operational foundation as a Lead Crane Operator and Rigger, with hands-on expertise in lift planning, hazard identification, compliance, and crew coordination. Recognized for proactively identifying and addressing risk, strengthening safety culture, and supporting incident prevention through practical field engagement and real-world industry knowledge.

Combines technical skill with leadership presence to influence safe behaviors, improve planning processes, and support operational teams in achieving both production and safety objectives.

A Texas native now based in Colorado, he enjoys hiking and running, reflecting the same discipline, focus, and endurance outside of work that he brings to demanding jobsite environments.
